He was predeceased by: his wife Marie; his sister Cathleen Tomasello; and his grandchildren, Danielle Scott DePerto (Anthony) and Robert Portillo. He is survived by: his children, Thomas M. McDermott, Jr. and Debbie Portillo; and his grandchildren, Anthony Scott DePerto, Jr., Audrey Scott DePerto and Vincent Scott DePerto.
