Schmeelk (Dumont, New Jersey), born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on September 19, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Burton Lake and Mary Lake (Webb); her husband George Schmeelk of New York City; and her brother Herbert Lake. She is survived by: her son George B. Schmeelk (Kristin) of Hebron; and her grandchildren, Ian and Harper.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations in her memory to Old North Reformed Church.
