It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard J. Jakob of Dumont, New Jersey, who passed away on September 28, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Susan Jakob; his children, Dana Mirabelli (Anthony) and Kristin Jakob; his sister Elizabeth Cohen (Robert Schneider); and his pets, Reese and Rubie. He is also survived by his grandson and dogs.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard's memory to S.T.A.R.T.
