He was predeceased by: his siblings, Mary Carter (Pat), Bridig Fishwick (John), Anne O'Neill (Pat), Sean Joyce (Anne), Tim Joyce (Kathy), Padraig Joyce (Theresa) and Maggie Farabaugh (Bob).

He is survived by: his wife Bridget Joyce; his children, Maureen McLaughlin (Jake), Dolores Joyce, Sean Joyce (Kerianne), Peter Joyce (Debbie) and Brian Joyce (Denise); his grandchildren, Ashley, Roger, James, Kirstie, Aidan, Courtney, Brendan, Brian, Sean, Katelyn, Niamh, Anya, Owen and Keira; and his siblings, Anthony Joyce (Agnes), Colie Joyce (Mary), Tommy Joyce and Nora Walsh (Martin). He is also survived by many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
