We are sad to announce that on August 16, 2024, at the age of 104, Marilyn Gertrude Griffin of Dumont, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Marilyn leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Marilyn may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her husband William Francis Griffin; and her sister Anne Martin. She is survived by: her children, Maureen Griffin, Marilyn Mitchell (Joseph), William J. Griffin (Patricia), Dennis Griffin, Eileen Yuka (James) and Brian Griffin (Janel). She is also survived by grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
