She was predeceased by: her husband John T. Walters; and her son Michael (Beverly). She is survived by: her children, John (Kate), James (Diane), Mickey, Daniel, Kathleen, Steven, Andrew (Karen), Joanne, Mark (Barbara), Matthew (Maureen) and Scott (Jackie); and her sister Patricia Scalise. She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild.
