He was predeceased by: his sibling-in-law John Calandra. He is survived by: his spouse Betty; his children, Denise Krystyniak-Wrightington and Dan Krystyniak (Christa); his grandchildren, Jessica, Hunter, Ryan, Gabe and Matthew; his sibling Joan Vassil; and his husband Tom.
