He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alexandros Staikos and Lambrini Staikos (Gizas); his brother Odysseas Staikos; his wife Georgia (Nakopoulos); his children, Linda (Brian), Alex (Angela) and Demetrios Staikos; his grandchildren, Demitri, Nicholas, Antony and Georgina; and his siblings, Vasilios (Marina), Konstantinos (Stavroula), Yianoula (Vasilios) and Panagiota (Nickolas). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Saint Andrews Greek Orthodox Church in Randolph, NJ.
