She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lavender and Phyllis N. Lavender; her brothers, Michael "Micky" Lavender of Horsham, England and Anthony "Tony" Lavender of Lake Worth, FL; and her husband Kenneth A. Heaton of Dover.

She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth (Cindy) of Hopatcong and Anthony (Joanna) of Essex Fells; and her grandsons, Anthony (Jacqueline Fox) and Alexander of New York City.
