He was predeceased by: his wife Sophie. He is survived by: his children, Susan Friel of Sandyston, Carolyn Friel of Dover and Joseph Friel of Dover; his granddaughter Sophia Meola; and his siblings, James (Patricia) of Salem, NH, Joseph of San Diego, CA and Marilyn Cotler (Jerrold) of Palm Coast. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
