She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Mekeel and Wilma Mekeel; her husband Morgan; her son Michael; and her brothers, Oliver and Richard Mekeel.
She is survived by: her children, David Bennett (Margaret), Bonnie Haggerty (Steve) and Brenda Zeglen (Chris). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
