He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence A. Cornett and Dorothy Cornett (Kennedy); his brother Albert Cornett; and his grandson Joseph Demaio Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy J. Cornett; his daughters, Tonya Stormes (Bob), Desiree Cornett and Jennifer Cornett; his granddaughter Samantha Kwasnicki; and his siblings, Geraldine Drouillard, Edith Cornett and Dale Cornett. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
