He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Schultz and Marguerite M. Marino Schultz. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Schultz (Peggy); his children, Donald Schultz, Jr. (Denise Schultz) and Denise McNulty (Bryan McNulty); and his grandchildren, Dylan Rainear, Haley Schultz, Jackson Schultz, Katelyn Marley and Brooke Marley. He is also survived by his wife, children and grandchildren.
