He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Blanchard and Marion Blanchard. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jean; his children, Jeanine Wells, Robin Bond (Chad), Joe (Jennifer), Jonathan (Margaret), Catherine Lucid (Keith), Melanie Arink (Curtis) and Danielle McDonald (Michael); his grandchildren, Isaac (Bethany), John, Elizabeth, Ethan, Emalee, Andrew, Kaylie, Julia, Thomas, Alyssa, Lena, David, James, Connor, Skyler, Tanner, Willow, Addison, Jack, Emma and Logan; and his siblings, Gail McDaniel, Jean Muller and Richard Blanchard.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be designated to LVAD Transplant Unit at Mayo Clinic.
