He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis C. Maffei and Amalia Maffei (Pedicini); and his brother Pfc. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Maffei (Jannetta); his children, Louis II, Nicole and Mark; his children-in-law, Carol and Sean; his sister Madeline LeDrappier; his nephew Andrew Kurth; his niece Christina Craig (DeCroce); his grandchildren, Tara, Mark, Anthony, Matteo and Patrick; and his sister Marian Maffei.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Norman Dean Home (16 Righter Ave, Denville, NJ 07834). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church (15 Myers Ave, Denville, NJ 07834).
