He was predeceased by: his former wife Patricia Barber; his son Gregory; his grandchildren, Ian, Lia Kranjac (Mario), Calin, Austin, Andrew, Jack, Grady, Dylan and Kiara; his great grandchild Luca; and his siblings, Rodney Barber and Joan Adams.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Barber (Sharon), Karen Ix (Brian), Lauren Mulligan (Dan) and Patricia Barber; and his wife Valerie Barber.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Barrett Leber Funeral Home (148 Dean Dr, Tenafly, NJ 07670). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Funeral Mass Feb.
In keeping with Barney's wishes, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution in his name be made to The Jim McGahren Scholarship Fund at K of C Queen of Peace Council, #3679.
