He was predeceased by: his father John J. McGann (Joy A. McGann). He is survived by: his mother Joy McGann; his sister Sandi Sofroney (Michael Martin); and his nieces, Rachel Sofroney and Olivia Sofroney. He is also survived by many cousins, friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Givnish Funeral Home (1200 US-130, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077). A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Life Celebration Service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the charity of your choice.

“I just had a dream and Sean visited me. I don't know him. I'm not mean or insane. Seriously had a conversation with him in my sleep. Said his name. He's sad, but okay. He said he finally gets to go back to Denmark or go to Denmark. I don't know what that means. Sitting beside him, holding his hand, was a woman with long, curly blonde hair. She looked like she was in her 40's. I did not see his face, but I saw hers. Again, this is not mean. Sending condolences.”
