He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Burgess and Marie Burgess (Schneider). He is survived by: his wife Marta Burgess (Torres); his children, Robert, Isabella, Joseph and Natalie; his grandchildren, Brandon and Ellaia; his uncle Cliff; and his cousins, Catherine, Della, Bernard, Neterkhuray, Jane and Nile.
