He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Vitelli and Josephine Vitelli; and his sister Carol Caivano (Joe). He is survived by: his wife Margaret (Peg); his children, Valerie O'Brien (Michael) and Gerald, Jr. (Mary); his grandsons, Anthony, Vincent Vitelli, Michael and Connor O'Brien; his sister Phyllis Armenti (George); and his siblings-in-law, Edward Hagerty (Jean) and Barbara Mongo (Anthony).
