He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Kuhns and Hannah Springer Kuhns; his siblings, Leroy, Marty, Frank, William, Christina (Walton), Peter and Beatrice (Cagle); and his nephews, Lewis Adoranto, John Glassford and Joshua Sayres.

He is survived by: his daughter Jamie Martin (Cletus); his granddaughter Sara Martin; his sister Althea Endicott; and his nephew Robert Olsen.
