He is survived by: his wife Margaret Shaw Edwards; his children, Cindy Tozer, Connie O'Lone, Cathy Scott, Joseph Edwards, Jr. and Brian Edwards; his grandchildren, Kim Dickard, Ed Scott, Melissa Edwards, Jennifer O'Lone, Alyssa O'Lone and Kylie O'Lone; and his great grandchildren, Emily, Hayden, Ashton, Xander, Ayden, Fallon, Jennifer and Daniel.

In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society 1851 Old Cuthbert Rd. Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
