Kay VanSyckel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kay VanSyckel in Delaware, New Jersey, who passed away on February 7, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Sten and Carl Sten; and her husband George VanSyckel. She is survived by: her children, Lynn Richmond (Mike) of Newark, Delaware, Louise Blackwood (John) of Newark, Delaware and Chet Van Syckel (Sandra) of Umatilla, Florida.; her grandchildren, Michele Griffiths (Wayne), Amanda Gordon, Katie Schutte and Thomas Richmond (Stacey); and her great grandchildren, Bryan, Mackenzie, Tyler, Bryson, Olivia, Colton and Abigail. She is also survived by her family, friends.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the McGlyn's Pub (108 Peoples Plaza, Newark, DE 19702).
