He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mildred (Rhoades) and Arcangelo "Mike" Matera; his wife Elsie; his son Joe (Laura); his sister Louise; his children, Susan, Bob (Lisa) and Lisa Matera Harder (George); his grandchildren, Claire (Eli), Tommy, Kate, Michael, Louise, Jose and Adrian; his siblings, Mike (Doris) and Elaine Matera Vogelman (Larry); and his sister-in-law Helen Mc Hugh. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
