He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Lowande and Gizella Lowande (Szabo). He is survived by: his wife Diane Lowande (Troulis); his children, Jessica Lowande, Laura Lowande and Michael Lowande; his grandchildren, Christian and Melina Johnson; and his siblings, Gail Lowande and Gregory Lowande.
