Gertru Ames Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 3, 2019, at the age of 93, Gertru Ames (Crosswicks, New Jersey), born in Nassawadox, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Wilmer C. Ames, Sr.; and her son Wilmer C. Ames, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Aurthurine Ames, Marvin D. Ames and Herbert K. Ames; her grandchildren, Auronda A. Greenhouse (David) and Caisse A. Gore (Ryan); her sisters, Flossie Stowe, Elizabeth Wallace and Beulah R. Drummond (Harold); and her nephew Craig Fitzgerald. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
