With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Gail Schauer of Cresskill, New Jersey, born in Cumberland, Maryland, who passed away on December 15, 2020. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marilyn Gail Schauer to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Markel and Alice Markel (Endress); her husband John W. Schauer Jr.; and her sister Janet Schroeder of Maryland. She is survived by: her brother Richard Kempton Markel of California; her children, Kathy (Bob Myers) of North Haledon, NJ and Jay (Barbara) of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Chrissy Sarkissian of Wayne, Steven Myers (Caitlin) of Springfield, Virginia, Annika, Christopher and Timothy Schauer; and her great grandchildren, Evan Sarkissian, Owen and Andrew Myers.
A memorial service will be held at the graveside following the COVID pandemic under the direction of Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 http://www.normandean.com.
