He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gerasimos Makris and Dionisia Makris; his wife Julia Hatzyiannis; his children, Jerry, Barbara and Steve; his grandchildren, George, Peter, Stefanos, Jerry, Julia and Katherine; and his siblings, Irene Magafan, Milton and Maria. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
