He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Fernandez and Marguerite Fernandez; his wife Phyllis; his stepfather Fred Venose; and his close friend Gladys Wincklhofer.
He is survived by: his daughter Jill; his son-in-law Joseph Herbert; his granddaughters, Rachel, Sara and Kelli Morris; his brother Donald Fernandez; and his close friends, Kathy, Tom Braun, William Jr. and Sue Wincklhofer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
