He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma DeSimone and William J. Murphy; and his sister Nancy Walsh (James). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Murphy; his children, Dawn Proctor (Gary) and William Murphy; his sister Delores Rizzo; his nephew John Rowland (Diane); his great-nieces, Kelly Rowland and Alicia Breazeale (Marc); his daughter-in-law Anona Murphy; his nephews, Sean Walsh (Muriel) and Brian Walsh (James Villa); his niece Holly Svekis (Steven); his great-nieces, Jacqueline and Gwenevere Svekis; his grandchildren, Ariana, Colin and Zack; and also Charlotte.
