He is survived by: his wife Waltraud; his children, Andrew and Elizabeth Cartaina; his pets, Sebastian and Christian; his sister Madeline Pfleger of Holmdel, NJ; and his siblings-in-law, Linda McDonald of Las Vegas, NV and Hans Ganter of Tuttlingen.
