He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter and Aurelia; and his siblings, Isabel Rosendorf, Manuel and Henry Alvarez.
He is survived by: his wife Jane M. Alvarez; his children, Nancy Burdick (Bryan), Carolyn Simon (Claude), Peter Alvarez (Lisa) and Dennis Alvarez (Melissa); his grandchildren, Haley, Lindsay, Jeffrey, Conner, Hunter, Kendall, Charles, Henry, Quinn and Riley; and his pet Clyde.
