He was predeceased by: his parents, Borghild Stephensen and Hans Gilbert; and his sister Joan. He is survived by: his son Andrew Young-Gilbert; and his wife Loretta C. Young. He is also survived by 3 sisters in law, 2 brothers in law, a niece and her husband, a nephew, a grand-niece and 2 grand-nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gray Memorial Funeral Home - Cranford (12 Springfield Ave, Cranford, NJ 07016). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Steve's memory to the Red Cross is encouraged.
