It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stasia J. Schmidt (Cranford, New Jersey), born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on April 13, 2019, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband George; her daughter Joanne Schmidt Walker (Everett); her son-in-law Jack Makely; her siblings, Helen Kendall (Norman) and John Zarski (Eileen); her nephew Norman Kendall; and her parents, Stanley Zarski and Emma Zarski.
She is survived by: her children, Steven and Kathy; her grandsons, Steven and Christopher Schmidt (Kim); her great grandchildren, Harper, Avery and Turner Schmidt; and her nieces and nephews, Pamela Kendall Smith, Eileen Feldman, Joan Dainiak, John, Joseph Zarski, Donald, Jane Voss, Richard Voss, Dorothy, Joseph Fountain, Margaret and Michael McNamara.
