He is survived by: his wife Erminia; his children, Anna Musella (John) and Sam Capone (Gioana); his grandchildren, Cara Kolokythas (George), Christopher and Sophia Capone; his brother Anthony Capone; and his niece Carolyn (Tony). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the American Heart Association.
