He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lynch and Eva Simaitis Lynch; and his siblings, William Lynch, Anne Swart, Mary Timmons and Eileen Mikusi.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Caffrey; his brother Dr. Joseph Lynch (Patricia) of Glen Ridge; his children, Linda Lynch Sheetz (Richard) of Lancaster, Marion Lynch (Ken Lowenstein) of Ocean Township, Nancy Lynch Genna (Joseph) of Toms River and Raymond Lynch; and his great grandchildren, Fiona Atlee, Logan Hodge and James Mitchell. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, extended family and dear friends.
