She was predeceased by: her husband William R. Downey; her sister Patricia; and her sons-in-law, Mark and James. She is survived by: her children, William Jr. (Nancy), Michael (Kate), Timothy, Patricia Ilkow, Margaret O'Gorman, Elizabeth Sorrentino, Robert (Cheryl) and Kathryn Ferguson (Jim); and her brother John Kerin of Nutley, NJ. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
