He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Coates and Cecelia Coates; and his brothers, Andrew and Chris. He is survived by: his wife Denise; his sons, Ryan, Dan and Matt; his siblings, Bob (Lynn), Sheila (Al) and Maureen (Joe); and his sisters-in-law, Lynne and Barbara. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family, and lots of friends.
