It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Laezza Jr. of Cranford, New Jersey, who passed away on May 22, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Laezza, Sr. and Edith. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Edie Merkel (Jack), Maria Singer (Bill) and Joan Genova (Frank); his grandchildren, Katie Cannon (Patrick), Joy Merkel (Praveen Rajasekaran), John Merkel (Tabitha), Will Singer (Nadia), Robert Merkel (Erin O'Dowd), Vincent Genova and Mary Rose Genova; and his great grandchildren, Emily, Clara, Liam Cannon, Ellis Jonah Daniel, John Philip and Yael Fay Merkel.
