He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Sala and Salvatore Della Sala; his sisters, Anne Sala, Yolanda Della Sala, Jean Taormina and Mary Woienski; and also, Joseph, Silvio and George.

He is survived by: his children, James R., Barbara Della Sala, Kathleen Richards and Michael Hopkins; and his granddaughters, Alycin Richards, Kristina Richards and Brianna Richards. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and was loved by his many friends.
