With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerasimoula Poulis of Cranford, New Jersey, who passed away on October 13, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Gerasimoula has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her husband Spiro Poulis. She is survived by: her daughters, Dimitra Scariano (Anthony) of North Brunswick and Maria Lysgaris (Ioannis) of Cranford; her siblings, Dennis Markatos of Florida and Evangelia Papadopoulos of Kastoria Greece; and her grandsons, Joseph and Christopher Scariano.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Crabiel Home For Funerals (170 N Main St, Milltown, NJ 08850). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 9:45 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church (124 Wadsworth Ave, New York, NY 10033). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mount Hope Cemetery (50 Jackson Ave, Hastings-On-Hudson, NY 10706).
