He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Ann Krause and Frank Walter Krause. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; and his children, Frank, Lauren, Carey and Kurt.

This decision of the MASO Board of Directors recognized Dr. Krause for "significant contributions to his community of patients; serving with distinction as a member of the American Association of Orthodontists at the national level as a delegate from New Jersey to the AAO and ADA; having personally contributed to the betterment of orthodontics; having taught in graduate orthodontic programs; and having conducted orthodontic research, lectures and publication.".
