He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie "Utaline" Hodgkins and Albert H. Amend; his wife Clara DeVecchis; and his siblings, Beatrice E. Amend of Cranbury and Albert E. Amend.
He is survived by: his brother Herman Amend; and his son Philip D. Amend (Taunus) of Bad Soden.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the A. S. Cole Son & Co. (22 N Main St, Cranbury, NJ 08512). A requiem service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Church (33 Mercer St, Princeton, NJ 08540).
