He was predeceased by: his parents, Jaraslav Podobed (Jerry) and Nadia Smirniw Podobed. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Podobed (Danberry); his son Andrew Podobed of Palisades Park, NJ; his sister Nina; his brother-in-law James Shargo; his mother-in-law Laura Danberry; and his siblings-in-law, Stephanie, Robert Carpenter (Pitts), Scott and Ellen Danberry. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
