It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Karen J. Golenda of Columbus, New Jersey, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on December 30, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Gomola and Lorraine Gomola; and her brother Steven. She is survived by: her husband Edward V. Golenda; her sons, Daniel Golenda of Columbus, NJ and Michael Golenda (Karie) of Hainesport, NJ; her sister Lorraine of Spotswood, NJ.; and her grandchildren, Matthew and Natalie Golenda.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Karen's memory may be made to a memorial scholarship fund to be set up by the family, benefiting students continuing their education in the medical sciences field.
