With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Heckman Jr. of Columbia, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on October 21, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. Heckman and Frances Heckman (Bertram); and his brother Louis G. Heckman. He is survived by: his wife Jane Heckman (Bower); his daughters, Christine Chardo (Francis) and Trish Gegenfurtner (Matthew); his grandchildren, Matthew James, Catherine Grace, Nicole Reese, Sophie Bridget and Emma Grace; and his sister Joann.
