He was predeceased by: his parents, Kalman Timar and Ethel Timar (Nagy); and his brother Tibor "Timmy" Timar. He is survived by: his family Diane Barone Timar; his son Zoltan Michael Timar; his sister Eva Benyola (David); his nephews, John and David Benyola; his brother-in-law Michael Barone; and his cousins, Susan Mancini (Nick), Cynthia Deutsch and Frank Yulling (Carolyn) of Cambridge, MA.
