He was predeceased by : his sons, Richard Cassidy IV and Michael; his daughter-in-law Jacqueline Cassidy; his grandchildren, Richard John, Michael Brian and Breeana Nicole Cassidy; his siblings, Tish (Ronny Maresca), Ruth and Robert; his father Richard J. Cassidy Sr.; and his siblings, Arthur, Jimmy Cassidy, Peggy Gentile and Gloria Neri.

He is survived by : his wife Carol A. Cassidy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, & cousins.

Visitation was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 from 8:45 AM to 10:45 AM at the Oliverie Funeral Home (2925 Ridgeway Rd, Manchester Township, NJ 08759). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Nj Veterans Cemetery (350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ 08562).
