Mildred Scarpati Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred Scarpati of Colts Neck, New Jersey, who passed away on February 11, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Tomasuolo and Enrico Tomasuolo; her husband Anthony Scarpati; and her son Leonard Scarpati. She is survived by: her children, Henry (Patricia Scarpati) of Fuquay-Varina, NC and Margaret (Sal Sciandra) of Colts Neck; and her grandchildren, Anthony, Michael, Gregory Scarpati, Sal, Peter and Stephen Sciandra. She is also survived by 10 loving great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home (26 S Holmdel Rd, Holmdel, NJ 07733). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the Shrine Church of St. Bernadette, Brooklyn (8201 13th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11228). A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Greenwood Cemetery.
