He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Christian, Michael and Amelia; his wife Angela; his brother Brian Thompson; his in-law Angelo (Theresa Paolino); his brothers-in-law, Thomas (Lisa) and Michael (Jaime Paolino); his cousin Joseph Schwab; and his parents, Margaret Thompson and Emil Thompson.

Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home (26 S Holmdel Rd, Holmdel, NJ 07733). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Colts Neck Community Church (25 Merchants Way, Colts Neck, NJ 07722). A burial was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Cemetery Holmdel Mausoleum (900 Holmdel Rd, Holmdel, NJ 07733).
