He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernardino Muñiz and America Muñiz. He is survived by: his wife Mercedita Torres Muñiz; his children, Alexander Torres Muñiz (Kristina) of Middletown and Samantha M. Colomer (Francisco) of Colts Neck; his grandchildren, Bernardino, Antonio, Solana and Frankie; and his siblings, Raquel Barros (Jose) of Edison and Bryan Muñiz (Ursula) of Old Bridge. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
